Welcome to Swindon Sands
All of us here have experienced the loss of a baby and the devastating and heartbreaking effects it has. We have found ourselves on a journey that we never wanted to be on and have to rebuild our hopes and dreams. Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) has been and continues to be a huge support to many bereaved parents including myself, having lost our little boy Adam in January 2007, at 31 wks in pregnancy. He has given me the inspiration to want to move forward in this life with more strength, compassion, determination and courage.
Out of that strength and with the strength of others, has grown Swindon Sands, to offer support to local parents and families who have suffered the devastating loss of a baby. I hope that you will find the support you need here at Sands in your journey ahead.

The large boxes include a hand knitted blanket and the mini boxes, which are for earlier losses, include a mini blanket and an Angel Pocket. These are all knitted locally, but we are in desperate need of more. (Read More)
